Almost everything this app remembers is stored only on your phone, and you can remove all of it yourself in a few seconds (section 2). We hold something on our servers only if you chose to sign in — your account, and which articles and hadiths you bookmarked. Section 1 explains how to have that deleted.
Email indiabeeps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Tamil Bayan Points data", sent from — or naming — the email address you signed in with, so that we can be sure the request is yours.
We will confirm and delete your data within 30 days. What gets deleted:
Nothing is retained after deletion, except where the law requires us to keep a record. Deleting your account does not remove the app from your phone — use section 2 for that.
Either one is immediate and needs nothing from us.
Explanations of Arabic passages are cached and shared between all readers so that everyone gets an instant answer. Each one is filed under a code calculated from the Arabic text itself and carries nothing about the person who first looked it up, so it identifies nobody and stays in place.
Crash reports contain your phone model, Android version and the technical details of the crash, with no name, email or account id attached. They cannot be traced back to you, and Google deletes them automatically after 90 days.
